Are you passionate about POLE and want to make it your career? Become a Certified Pole Dancing Instructor with an EDP Instructor Course! Based on functional teaching methodology written by Justine McLucas (see FAQ’s below for credentials and experience!) each course builds on the knowledge of the previous from Beginner foundation skills, right up to Advanced spotting for flips and drops, with a focus on ways to see real results and technical growth in your students.

Suitable as an instructor training tool, for new or experienced teachers, the courses will also provide insight and skills for the pole dancer wishing to further their own personal understanding of pole training even if not to teach, but to apply improved techniques and training methods to their pole workouts.

  • Each course includes in-depth manuals (supplied as PDF’s to save the environment!) covering theory content, complete breakdowns with images for every trick and spin in each level, plus lists with technique points for Conditioning & Flexibility exercises, giving you the perfect foundation to become a Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced Pole Instructor.
  • Each trick is categorised as Low/Mid/High or by level within each course, assisting with creating your own syllabus and class plans easily in the real world, catering for the many levels currently on offer at different pole studios.
  • Your Master Trainer has expert knowledge and experience and will be there to guide you and answer all of your questions.
  • Practical assessment, quizzes & worksheets will be given throughout the course to monitor understanding and progress. Successful candidates will receive a signed certificate upon passing each level.
  • Courses are structured over 2 days per level (Beg – Inter – Adv), in studio practical workshops & classroom tutorials.
  • Developed through years of experience, research & successful implementation in-house for the last 8 years at Ecole de Pole in London, Singapore & Cleveland, the EDP courses are now available to the public as affordable knowledge based training to develop your skills for teaching pole classes effectively, safely and with absolute confidence.

Why isn’t the course accredited?

One of the main factors in deciding who to train with is TRUST and REPUTATION.  We believe our reputation for high standards of teaching and the experience of our Master Trainers assure our clients they can TRUST and RELY on the value of our courses without the CPD points. Justine has over 30 years in Dance & Fitness under her belt, 10 years in the pole industry, teaching pole for 9, and has been implementing the in-house EDP courses with all EDP instructors for over 8 years already, as well as having provided the syllabus and training privately to Swedish Pole Studio The Dinali Centre.

This is a knowledge based course to improve your skills and make you a better instructor with technique and understanding you will actually be able to apply to your teaching and training. We are confident that it does that without needing any bells and whistles.  By keeping this a knowledge based course we can make it more affordable to a wider range of people than having to charge more than double to cover the costs of accreditation with a company (CPD points that not everyone actually needs or qualifies for – so make sure you check if you need points for your qualification if you don’t have a fitness registration you won’t get the points anyway). Of course if you need CPD points to teach in a gym or keep your Personal Trainer qualification valid this is not going to get you those – but it will give you unparalleled information (and based on the history of Ecole de Pole’s instructor team worldwide that is the makings of a great pole instructor – every teacher in our team has completed these courses in order to be an EDP studio instructor!)

After reviewing cost of accreditation vs accessibility to the public for good courses at a reasonable price to enhance knowledge and practical teaching skills, we decided to fill that gap for knowledge as the forefront of the course objective at a price the average person can afford. OUR MISSION – to share our knowledge and good pole technique with EVERYONE!!

As time goes by in the market, we may finalise our accreditation (however, we don’t really want to as that will mean having to more than double the price and take away the accessibility of the courses to most)

Do not hesitate to get in contact if you have any questions!
